An Approach to preparing for the Canadian Ob/Gyn Examination

This session will introduce International Medical Graduates, who are not enrolled in a Canadian training program, to the structure format for Multiple Choice and Short Answer questions, as well as, the Clinical Communication Scenarios Examination (OSCE). Note: This session has been designed for IMGs that have had no previous experience and have not seen or participated in an OSCE station. It is an introduction to OSCEs only and will not include individual practice. (This session is only available to IMGs registered to attend the Canadian Obstetrics and Gynecology Review Program)

The content of this program is based upon the specific needs of graduating residents. The format of this program will include interactive presentations with an opportunity for immediate feedback through touch pad technology. Multiple choice Q&A's are incorporated into each presentation as well as a formal pathology slide review. Residents will also have an opportunity to participate in a Clinical Communication Scenario (OSCE) exercise. A minimum of five stations of different cases will be offered in both French and English.
