The Canadian Obstetrics and Gynecology Review Program will offer the following programs in 2023:

January 19, 2023 - International Medical Graduates - Available to those registered for the review program - to be held virtually
January 20-22, 2023 - Canadian Obstetrics and Gynecology Review Program - PGY5's only - to be held virtually
January 20-22, 2023 - Expanded Program for Practising Obstetrics and Gynecologists - to be held virtually
April 1, 2023 - Clinical Communication Scenarios - to be held virtually
May 26-28, 2023- Canadian Obstetrics and Gynecology Review Program - PGY4's only - Location/format to be determined

An Approach to preparing for the Canadian Ob/Gyn Examination

This session will introduce International Medical Graduates, who are not enrolled in a Canadian training program, to the structure format for Multiple Choice questions and the Clinical Communication Scenarios Examination (OSCE).
Note: This session has been designed for IMGs that have had no previous experience and have not seen or participated in an OSCE station. It is an introduction to OSCEs only and will not include individual practice. (This session is only available to IMGs registered to attend the Canadian Obstetrics and Gynecology Review Program)

Begins at 10:00 am eastern standard time (EST) zone on Friday, January 20, 2023. Ends at 5:00 pm eastern standard time (EST) zone on Sunday, January 22, 2023.

The content of this program is based upon the specific needs of graduating residents. The format of this program will include interactive presentations with an opportunity for immediate feedback through touch pad technology. Multiple choice Q&A's are incorporated into each presentation as well as a formal pathology slide review.

PGY5's may register for the January 20-22, 2023 program.

PGY4's may register for the May 26-28, 2023 program.

Accreditation

Saturday, April 1, 2023

NOTE: Available only to participants who have attended the COGRP.

Begins at 8:00am eastern standard time (EST) zone on Saturday, April 1.
Ends at 7:30pm eastern standard time (EST) zone.

Through virtual simulated real-life scenarios, each resident is given the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attributes required for the completion of the core training for obstetrics and gynaecology. Examiners will play a vital role in this process by delivering a reliable and fair assessment.

Each resident can expect to complete 5 stations. Individual marks will be provided to each resident upon completion of the scenarios.

The Canadian Obstetrics and Gynecology Review Program can be viewed on any PC or MAC. For the best experience please use the Chrome browser. We highly recommend that you perform an internet connection speed test before viewing the program. The following are the minimum required download speeds:
3.0 Mbps – recommended Internet speed for Standard Definition (480) streaming.
5.0 Mbps – recommended Internet speed for High Definition (1080) streaming.
